Providing for your customer with CRM

Friday, February 22, 2008

CRM is not a tool; software is only a small part of the equation when it comes to collecting and using data about your customers. CRM is more of a philosophy, a mindset; it is the understanding, anticipating and responding to customer needs.

Customer relationship management is about better providing for your customers while building a relationship with each customer to improve satisfaction and maximise profits. To do this businesses need to collect the right information about their customers and organise it for proper analysis and action. A good computer based CRM system; provided it has the correct information, can increase sales by as much as 40% - 50%.

It is a business strategy with the goal of maximising profit, revenue and customer satisfaction. The technology to support CRM must be integrated as part of an overall customer strategy and the technology requirements of a CRM strategy must be guided by an overall view of who the customer is and good CRM implementation provides a 360degree view of the customer, which is sometimes called end-to-end custumer management. Every place in your organisation that touches your customer should be integrated.

The needs of your customer must be translated into a plan of how you intend on improving your business to better fit what your customer wants. By improving your business to fit the needs and ideas of your customer you are potentially increasing your profit as customers will have more desire to use your business if you have more of what the customer wants.

As a business however you do need to tread carefully when it comes to collecting information and data about your customers as some people may feel that the collection of personal data such as opinions and preferences is an invasion of their privacy. This is why it may be a good idea to make your customers aware of what you are doing. Many people will be more than happy to share their view on how your business could hold a better relationship with its customers and people will do so if it means that this information will provide them with a better service and business that fits their needs.

Many CRM strategies sadly fail as a vast majority of people seem to be under the impression that by simply installing the software they are bettering their customer relationship management. This is however not the case. The software on its own will not help you to improve the relationship with your customers; it needs to be used with research into your customer’s habits as only together will you be able to build up a CRM strategy that benefits yours customers.

In order to increase sales and improve your customer relationship; CRM is the way to go. It is the best and easiest way of building up a relationship between your business and your customers. It will help you to improve your business in a way that will bring more customers to use your business as well as keeping your current customers satisfied.

Satellite Internet Service Provides More Speed

Dial up is the slowest way to connect to the Internet for people who do not have access to DSL or cable. The fact is that people in rural areas are not connecting with cable or DSL because the services do not extend that far out of local areas. This is frustrating for people who need to work at home or have a need for a fast computer. If you buy a new computer these days, you want a Internet that has some speed. Satellite Internet service is the way for people to have the speed they need for that new computer.

When you buy a computer that has everything you want and need, you want to be able to use it in a way it was designed for, fast connections for downloading and uploading. Many rural residents with lightening fast satellite Internet service have replaced dial up and are reaching the potential of their computers. The speeds are faster than cable or DSL and allow you to do more things online that you could not do with dial up, cable or DSL. With satellite high-speed Internet, you are always connected to the Internet, therefore there is no waiting to connect.

People who live in cities or rural areas that want to use Voip as their phone will need DSL or high-speed Internet to use this service. If you use the Internet Voip phone system, a high-speed connection is the only way to use the phone system in real time. This is just another reason for people to have a satellite Internet service. You will find that many satellite services are following Hugesnet and offering their high-speed Internet connections. If they can match up speed wise, they are a good bargain. The only thing you have to consider is the connection speed, downloading and uploading times.

The best thing to do before selecting a satellite Internet service is to compare speed charts for downloads and uploads. If you would choose a service that is priced cheaper than another service, you may find out that the service is a little less than what you could get somewhere else. You also need to select a satellite service that gives you good television service. Some companies do not have reliable reception in certain areas or weather conditions. This has to be a consideration as well when deciding on the type of Internet satellite you want to have in your home.

High-speed satellite Internet service is nice to have if it works all the time. Dropped signals are rare with some providers, but are common with other providers. Since you need something reliable, you have to compare and maybe even check with neighbors to see if they have satellite to see if they have a preference for a specific provider. You want to have a fast connection and reliable service to use you computer the way it should be used. Nothing less than fast will give you the true benefits of the newer computers today.

COMPUTER AND HALLOWEEN, DO THEY MIX?

Computer backup is so important to your computer that to ignore it is to risk its damnation.

Computers require care and feeding. They require that you attend to their needs. If you don't, then they will most surely be sent to Hell.

Halloween means Hell. What! What do you mean that Halloween means Hell?

Well, if your computer is given the option of trick or treat, which will it accept? Will it accept the trick or the treat? What do you think?

Halloween is the time that computers are subject to tricks or treats. Did you know that more computers fail on Halloween than any other day of the year? That’s right. It’s true (smile). Your computer is in danger! Protect it. Do your computer backups.

Back to the Hell thing. Hell you say? Yep. Well, what do you mean by Hell?

Computer hell is the place for computers without computer backup. The failure to perform Harddrive backup means that you are playing Russian Roulette with your data. Data needs your protection. Failure to protect your data may cause your home or business records to be sent to Hell.

Hell in this instance is for the records and files that cannot be resurrected. Resurrected you say, what does that mean?

It means that without computer backup as a source of salvation then the files can safely enjoy eternal oblivion. Oblivion you say, what does that mean? That means they are eternally lost from computer resurrection.

Is there any mercy for my precious files, you ask?

Why yes there is. Would like to know what the mercy for your files is? Yes! Yes! You say.

OK boys and girls listen carefully. The salvation, mercy, resurrection and redemption of your files lies in regular and consistent and persistent computer backup.

If you backup your computer consistently and persistently your files will be resurrected and saved from accidental deletion, hard drive failure and those nasty things like fire, flood, theft, earthquake, hurricanes, tornados and the like!

Computer backup is the key to your data's salvation!

Do your computer backups boys and girls.

Milk and cookies will be served in the pantry.

Trick or treat for your computer backup?
